I have been meaning to write since I received my product, but now that I have waited I have discovered more good things to say about it! Afterglow Cosmetics is simply the most wonderful makeup I have ever used. It has the lightest feel, for the first few days my skin felt so light I couldn't believe I was wearing my makeup and had to check in the mirror to be sure I really was! I use very little to get the coverage I want and it never cakes or clumps like standard liquid or cake makeup, especially under my eyes. A benefit I didn't expect is how gently it can be applied -- I never feel like I am stretching or pulling on delicate skin when I apply the foundation as a concealer. The powder sticks exactly where I want it to (particularly in places liquid makeup wouldn't apply, like at the corners of my eyes) and blends flawlessly, so I use much less product than before and it looks more natural. The bronzer is never something I thought I would use, as I have light skin and never tan, but it works great as a natural blush and for highlighting and I use it almost everyday. The sample set is also great and will forever be my travel makeup because it is such a great size and easy to pack all of your everyday cosmetics in a single sweep! AFTERGLOW is my favorite mineral makeup. I have used other "bare" mineral brands in the past and I was not thrilled with the 'unusual glowy' look. That was the main reason why I switched to AFTERGLOW. I also LOVE the color (Medium Light 1)! It's a perfect match.....I truly can't believe it.....I've been searching for a long time to find a foundation that matches my skin tone without leaving a face/neck mark....and this product works. So far Afterglow's results have been amazing and I plan on sticking with this product. I love makeup and have tons and tons of makeup ranging from MAC to Lancome. . . but AFTERGLOW mineral foundation is what I use as a foundation base. I've tried many different types of hypoallergenic cosmetics, trying to find some that don't irritate my skin, especially the delicate skin around my eyes. I am very pleased with the results from Afterglow Cosmetics. I was referred to this line after visiting the Campaign for Safer Cosmetics website, which I stumbled upon by accident, looking for non-irritating cosmetics. Afterglow Cosmetics don't irritate my skin, don't cause puffy or watery eyes, and are very safe to use (big plus). I had no idea other cosmetic lines were derived from such harmful ingredients. This is the best Mineral Foundation ever! Prior to trying a sample set from Afterglow I'd used several other popular (and more expensive) brands of mineral foundation. Afterglow is the best by far! It provides great coverage and still looks natural. It makes my morning routine a snap. I absolutely love these products. – Jenny H.
